In the eighteenth century, women were bred, taught etiquette, and were shown off at balls so that they could attract the best suitor, who will serve as a provider, for the rest of their lives. Since then, women have fought hard for their freedom. They have broken the chains of society and ensured their rightful place on this earth.
The Need for Family
These days, women have grown independent so that, they are not at the peril of some man. They can support themselves and perhaps even their family members, however, the need for a companion always comes up, and as such women will wed to create a family of their own.
Living in a Man's Shadow
It is the man who has not changed over these past 3 centuries. He still believes that he can be in control of a woman’s life. Today in this modern world, where a woman has made a place for herself in society she still fights these tedious battles daily, proving that she does not need to exist in the shadow of a man. Even in the work world no matter how hard a woman tries, she is always handed the raw end of the stick by her male counterparts.
Women have Earned Their Rightful Place
A true man should never feel insecure about the power of a woman. Instead, he should support her and, encourage her. She does not need his permission for anything. All she needs, is for her existence to be acknowledged.
Time and time again men want to hold superiority over women. There is no need for this. Men and women are of equal value. One cannot take the human race further without the other one. We need each other. When are men going to realize this great accountability?
A Stronger Woman
Over time the struggles of women have only made them stronger, tougher, and less dependent. Time has molded her while being kind to her, however, the same time has reduced man to an insecure living entity. Where does this vicious cycle end? Has the time come to choose a thoroughly bred man, to procreate and then have nothing to do with him? Women can then go on living their life unbound. Their only responsibility is the beautiful souls they bring into this world.
Women take the Helm
There are many women in the world bringing up kids on their own with no help from anyone. Some of them are forced to, while others choose to. Women have proved that they can do it. So why do we set ourselves up for failure knowing pretty well that we cannot succumb to a man’s every whim? We have evolved into new creatures. One that will not be bound within the walls of the 'protection" of a man. If anything, we need protection from him.
This is something we ought to teach our daughters and nieces. It has come to the reality that a man is but, only as good as the seed he produces.
