How to get over heartache

Greetings Gentleman, I hope you are all well. Today we are going to be talking about how to deal with heartache. When we get a toothache, we go to the dentist. When we get a headache, we go to the doctor. When we get a backache, we go to the chiro. But what exactly do we do when it comes to the matters of the heart?

Well, my fellow gentleman. The truth is, you need to go to yourself in order to solve it.

So what on earth is heartache? 💔

Well it's definitely not a heart-attack. Heartache comes from the loss of something. It can be losing your loved one, breaking up with someone, maybe even losing something important to you such as your job. It hurts deeps down, you feel down and sad most of the time. You can't seem to eat food or maybe you're starting to eat too much food. The truth is everyone reacts to this differently. Essentially you feel like shit and possibly extremely depressed about how your life is looking right now.

Now that we know what it is exactly, how do we then go about curing it?

How does one get over heartache? 💘

Well it's easy. When I am going through heart ache or any kind of sadness, I just simply stop feeling sad. It's that easy. That's all folks - hope you enjoyed todays blog post.

I'm kidding. I do not know how much time has passed since you have experienced what you have experienced. What I can tell you though is that you should give yourself about 24 hours to fully process what happen. If you want to talk about go ahead and talk about it. If you want to cry about it. Go ahead and cry about it. If you want to break something then go chop wood or something. Do whatever you need to do to deal with the frustration, hurt and pain. You can even play games now that I think about it.

After the 24 hours have passed and you have allowed yourself to vent and deal with it. You then need to forget about it. It may seem easy at first, where you just put on a Netflix movie and forget about life for a while then it returns in those short breaks when you go to the toilet, when you're in the shower and especially just before you sleep. So basically it is most definitely not going to be easy, however, just because it is somewhat difficult does not mean it is impossible. You need to make a commitment and it needs to stem from respect for yourself.

I'm not saying forget it as in erase it from your memory but do not allow your mind to dwell on it because when that happens then you are just wasting your mental energy and this will then drain you and potentially leave you feeling sick when trying to exert yourself during other of life's many tasks.

So how do you forget? 💤

Busy, busy, busy. You do not have to be extremely productive at first but be busy. You can do anything! Just do something! Never do nothing! But do not engage in activities that cause you to dwell on what transpired which caused the heartache.

Play games, go to the gym, go out for lunch, drive somewhere, create something, such as a YouTube video. I don't care just be busy - do your homework for a change or learn a new skill. The goal is to be busy enough so you do not dwell on what had occurred and feel sorry for yourself and sad. You should tire yourself out so that you become very sleepy. Doing this will help you sleep faster, also sleeping is one of the best ways to deal with heartache since time will pass faster and your subconscious will do all the heavy lifting for you in terms of dealing with and coming to terms with the issue instead of your active mind.

You need to understand that you aren't your mind, you are separate from your mind. You have control if you exercise it. The mind is a good servant but a terrible master. Understand that at the end of the day your mind is simply a tool and it can be your greatest friend or enemy solely depending on how you use it.

And that is "How to deal with Heartache"
